Elevation HR are excited to be recruiting for a Human Resources Advisor for one of our Chesterfield based clients. This is a newly developed role and has been created to accommodate the growing business needs. The HR Advisor will have sole responsibility for all HR services for approximately 50 staff.

Reporting into the Financial Controller; this is an end to end role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day to day transactional HR function inclusive of payroll as well as supporting managers in building high performing teams and organising cross-functional teams.

The role is full-time however will consider reduced hours across 5 days.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Administering and management of monthly payroll inclusive of processing and submission of all statutory reports to HMRC
- The first point of contact for all employees on policies and procedures, ensuring the business is compliant on HR legislation
- Providing support on the full employee life cycle inclusive of recruitment, new starter induction process and exit interviews
- Lead on employee engagement initiatives as well as supporting on employer brand proposition to assist with attraction and retention strategies
- Provide HR reports on employee information for managers
- Ensuring smooth running of the office including ad hoc duties such as scanning, maintaining stationery stocks and sundry items

- Experience of HR administration, payroll processing and office management
- First level HR capability and a keenness to further develop in this area
- Strong stakeholder management capability
- Confident in communicating at all levels cross-functionally
- Excellent attention to detail, professional and a strong team player
- Comfortable in an end to end HR role
