The Council has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and committed HR Assistant to join the Human Resources Team, in our new purpose built office and leisure Centre facility, Rushcliffe Arena, West Bridgford.

They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to be part of their committed HR Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for a full range of HR administration duties, helping to deliver an efficient and effective, HR, Health and Safety and Learning and Development service to our staff and managers at the Council. With previous experience of working in a HR team, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you will be able to communicate effectively at all levels, work efficiently as part of a team and also on your own initiative.

You will be responsible for:

The role will support daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR processes from recruitment advertising, payroll processing through to the arranging and co-ordination of training and other events.
