Human Resources Generalist / Projects Manager - Central London
Part Time - 25 hours per week
£50,000 per annum, pro-rata
Permanent, part-time for 25 hours each week
Due to business growth, a global asset manager seeks an experience CIPD qualified HR Business Partner to join their small HR Team. The ideal candidate will have about four years’ experience in HR, be an experienced project co-ordinator / manager, and have worked in the financial services sector.
The role is a mixture of Generalist work and Project Management, so it requires a candidate who would enjoy this mix. The broad areas include: employee matters, compensation and benefits, budgets, communications, performance management and HR projects.
Monitoring, reviewing and updating all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
Providing an advisory service to employees, ensuring HR matters are handled fairly
Supporting line managers with grievance and disciplinary hearings
Working with line managers on performance management
Dealing with the annual appraisal process including follow-up with managers and their teams
Management of all personnel records and files
Development of an overall HR business plan with measurable objectives
Analysis of the effectiveness of all human resources efforts both financially and in terms of whether they produced the company's needed objectives and outcomes
Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
Have a CIPD or equivalent qualification
A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals
Selection and implementation of new HRIS
Compensation and benefits surveys
Implement a paperless HR function
Maintain and develop HR Business Process Manual for any process changes
