Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an established Manufacturing business looking to appoint an Interim HR Assistant for a period of c3 months in the first instance. The role requires an immediate start before Christmas. Based in Rotherham this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator / HR Assistant to work closely with the Head of HR to support the HR function on all areas of HR administration supporting the business of 400+ employees.
The HR Assistant role requires someone who is organised, methodical and efficient and ideally someone with experience gained previously in a HR function/department. Due to the confidentiality of the HR department you should be someone used to working in a a confidential setting handling employee information.
- Supporting the Head of HR on all aspects of HR administration
- Working with managers during a period of change on redundancy consultations
- Taking notes at employee consultation meetings
- Managing information on the HR System
- Providing reports and data on employee information
- Acting as first line support on employee queries
- Recording employee communications, such as absence records or grievance and disciplinaries
- General filing and personnel records management.
As this is an immediate start interviews will be taking place before Christmas.
