Andrew James Specialist Recruitment Ltd
Salary: c £46,000 pro rata
Location: Bracknell
Job type: Contract
Contact: Andrew Lavey
Category: HR Training Jobs

A unique and prestigious organization is looking for a Learning and Development Consultant for a 6 month period, to support their HR team.

Working for the HR Director and alongside the HR BP team, the role will review and re design a series of training programmes that the organization is required to deliver to its bank of flexible staff that enter the business at various times throughout the year.

There is a variety of course material - some operational, around health and safety, induction, policies and procedures etc and there is also the need for further interventions around delivering superior service, experience and in some cases leadership.

With a varied demographic of employees receiving the training through the year, it is important that the material is easy to access and applicable to usage in online and off line formats. Furthermore, the organization is very keen for a creative expert eye to review what they have, with licence to make changes and improve what they are doing.

At the end of contract, the role will also be asked to deliver some of the training, which combines nicely with a planned period of growth and the traditional busy period in its sector.

To apply to this role, you should be a Learning and Development professional, probably operating at Advisor, Business Partner or manager level, who has solid full cycle experience and exposure to analyzing, designing and delivering interventions for populations who fluctuate in numbers. Ideally you will have experience of retail, leisure, hotels, events or venue related training (although other experience around construction, engineering, facilities, outsourced services etc will be considered).

You must be available to commit to a 6 month fixed term contract and the business would much prefer to appoint on a fixed term contract, PAYE basis so preference will be given to applications in that space, rather than daily rate applications.
