Elevation recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a Sheffield based organisation to recruit an Interim Learning & Organisational Development Officer - this is a FTC to 31/3/21 in the first instance.

Reporting into the L&D Lead the role will encompass the full cycle of L&D to ensure effective development for their people.

The role will include:

- Lead delivery and develop the corporate induction for all new employees
- Design and deliver training courses based on identified learning and development needs of the organisation and individuals, producing supporting training materials
- Lead the design and delivery of learning programmes as identified by the Learning and Organisational Development Leads
- Support the Learning and Organisational Development Leads in the procurement of external suppliers and manage learning and training contracts
- Design effective pathways for course evaluation, reviewing outcomes, amending, and revising training courses as necessary
- Keep up to date with and research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning
- Support the implementation of initiatives identified within the learning and development strategy, leading where appropriate as identified by the Learning and Organisational Development Leads
- Manage the e-learning system and mandatory training requirements

To be successful in this role:

- Driven self-starter who takes an innovative approach to work, comfortable with working alone and as a pro-active team member
- Knowledge of applying current learning and development trends with a personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills
- Proven experience of designing, delivering and evaluating training to a high standard
- Evidence of developing learning and development initiatives using a variety of methods such as digital, blended, face to face
- Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels of an organisation
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to learning, both face-to-face and remotely
- Ability to prioritise work and manage own diary amidst challenging demands on time
- Training qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience essential
- Respectful, professional, open and honest behaviour including a demonstrable commitment to inclusion and diversity
