Internal Recruiter - Nationwide Logistics Brand
£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Car / Allowance
Northamptonshire Area

Our client is currently seeking an in-house recruiter to support a nationwide logistics & warehousing Company. The role will be based in Northamptonshire however, there will be a need for regular travel throughout the UK.


The core duties will include sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates in a variety of roles within the Company with a specialist focus on the recruitment of operational staff which are considered to be high turnover roles. 

The successful candidate will need to deliver a proactive approach to maintaining a pipeline of candidates using their own initiative in establishing new sourcing, selection and assessment methods in line with changes in the labour market. 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

+ Consistently consulting with management to forecast recruitment needs during operational peaks and troughs
+ Developing hiring strategies that are flexible and adaptable to varying roles and needs
+ Be responsible for internet research to establish best practice in line with market trends and ensure a solution to all recruitment matters
+ Writing of job adverts and posting on job boards
+ Screening high volumes of candidate CVs
+ Managing the whole recruitment process from advert to job offer and supporting new starters through the on boarding processes to ensure efficient and effective staffing solutions
+ Scheduling of interviews, issuing job offers, coordination of start dates in line with induction training
+ Attending interviews with the recruiting managers
+ Arranging open days to create awareness of the Company and promote vacancies
+ Helping to organise assessment centres to test candidates’ suitability for roles.

Person Specification:

+ Recruitment Agency experience or previous in-house recruitment experience is a must have
+ Full understanding of right to work eligibility checks and recruitment practices
+ Comfortable working to strict deadlines whilst managing multiple workplace activities
+ Experience using Social media tools in a Recruitment- e.g. LinkedIn
+ A clear communicator in person and writing
+ Highly organised
+ Proficient user of all MS Packages
+ Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
+ Open to travel as travelling to different sites will be required.
