Learning & Development Business Partner

My client, an international leading company, are looking for an outstanding Learning professional to join them in their high performing team as their new L&D Business Partner.

This role will play a significant role in driving initiatives across the group to focus on induction, learning initiatives and management training. It will report directly into an outstanding Group Head of Learning and Talent, with a dotted line to a strong HRD. The role also has good exposure to senior leadership up to exec level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the design and delivery of the Business Learning Development Curriculum
  • Ownership of the design and delivery of development programmes to drive business capability and the development of key skills
  • Support the succession planning and Talent mapping of the organisation
  • Own the improvement of corporate induction
  • Take charge of the business apprenticeship scheme, with a focus on various streams
  • Identification and development of high potential individuals to deliver into specific areas of the business
  • Help lead the diversity and inclusion initiatives within the group

Key Experience:

  • Demonstrable significant background in a high performing learning function and with a personable track record of key business impacts
  • Extensive experience in design and delivery of training and development, strong facilitation skills
  • An understanding of the engineering space - highly desirable
  • Previous experience in design and delivery of line management programmes
  • Experience of training needs analysis
  • Strong coaching skills with experience coaching teams and individuals at all levels
  • Experience working within a large highly matrixed environment
  • Strong project management skills
