Learning and Development Manager

A well-known legal firm in South East London, are looking for a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Manager to join their fantastic L&D team.

This role is an excellent opportunity to manage the L & D team and support the senior executive team in shaping and implementing the L&D strategy for the firm going forwards.

The role will involve:

  • Oversight of design and implementation of training and development programmes
  • Implementation of staff appraisal and performance management
  • Devising a dynamic L&D strategy consistent with business objectives
  • Selecting and working alongside third party providers to deliver tailored programmes to the business
  • Working closely with the HR team to ensure HR system efficiency and best possible induction for new employees
  • Team mentoring and management which means previous line management is essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant operational management experience in an L&D role, preferably in the legal space or similar. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of training initiatives across the company as well as cultivate a culture of learning within the firm.
