Learning and Development Coordinator (HR) BLUL66387

Our Client is a leader in the European textile service industry and delivers a complete textile rental and laundry service to all types of activities. Working across four business lines – Hospitality, Healthcare, Workwear and Facility, they work with thousands of organisations all over Europe.

They now have an exciting opportunity available for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join them to support the delivery of national and group led projects as well as day to day management of the UK training programme.

As an integral part of the HR team, you will coordinate learning interventions in line with the needs of the business, sourcing and booking venues/training rooms for events including all logistics and ensuring the right people are on the right training at the right time.  Managing course bookings and dealing with any queries, issues and cancellations promptly, you must liaise with external awarding bodies and suppliers and take responsibility for the day to day management of their Learning Management System including e-learning and local system administration.   

Providing seamless reporting on a monthly basis and for specific projects to capture key L&D data, you will coordinate apprenticeships and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support an effective L&D service.

You must also deliver a positive and proactive service by meeting and greeting delegates, new starters and external suppliers, making them feel welcome, introducing them to relevant people and location or remotely managing this where not directly present to ensure they are set up for success during their visit.

Candidates for this role should have an understanding of the learning cycle or experience in a human resources team coupled with experience of coordinating L&D or HR projects and the ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels.  With an impeccable eye for detail and a passion for training and development, you must have a friendly demeanour and professional manner and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
