A specialist market research agency is looking for an expert and strategic L&D and Talent Management Lead to join them in a newly created position which will see you have entire ownership of the talent function.
Working in a centres of excellence structure, you’ll partner with the generalist HR teams as well as specialist recruitment and comp & bens areas. You’ll be the lead and report into the HR Director, with L&D and talent management responsibility to the UK business areas of approximately x800 employees across creative, design, corporate, strategic, research and insight.
A complete blank canvas for the UK, you’ll bring your distinguished experience of initialising, centralising and implementing a structured and truly value-add L&D/talent function into a highly receptive business, able to lead strategically whilst operationally creating programmes. Key topics will include analysing succession issues and flight risk levels, leadership succession pipelines, develop talent management programmes and high potential awareness, and take ownership of the graduate programme.
Providing the essential link between L&D and recruitment, you’ll have previous experience of broadening out your exposure across the development, training, talent management and recruitment remits within a similar sized organisation. You’ll demonstrate an innovative attitude with bags of energy to provide a strong, value-add function ready to enhance and develop the entire UK business. Ideally you’ll have a background within professional services and be looking to step up into this remit.
