Learning & Development Manager

Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll have responsibility for all Learning & Development activity across the business, specifically in the need’s analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of all learning interventions.

Learning & Development Manager Responsibilities:

- Creating and delivering a 1st and 2nd line Management Development programme, enabling exceptional people management skills and focus on performance.
- Working closely with the Head of HR to design & expand development programmes for Key Talent & Succession Groups.
- Owning the induction and onboarding of new colleagues, providing guidance to the management teams and also ensuring that a new induction is refreshed and delivered.
- Develop best in class learning methods, including blended approaches, tutor –led and self-managed learning and through various mediums i.e. workshops, e-learning, webinars, self-directed learning etc.
- Managing functional learning plans, in both mainstream and specialist roles.
- Co-delivery with the HRBPs of core people management upskilling courses.

Learning & Development Manager Requirements:

You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way. This is an autonomous role that you can manage & shape in a way that’s right for the business.

Essential Skills for the role:

- Proven experience in the management of L&D disciplines across a business.
- Have exemplary design and delivery skills including online training design.
- Evident and excellent training facilitation and coaching skills to create an exceptional learning experience for delegates.
- Ability to develop, organise and execute a plan in partnership with multiple stakeholders.
- This is a National role and you must be able to travel & work flexibly.
- Be commercially minded, understand the key priorities and pace the business operates at.
