The nursery has excellent reputation, they have been graded as Good by OFSTED and are working towards achieving an outstanding. My client believes in having strong relationships with staff, children and parents. They are looking for a Deputy Manager who is passionate about delivering high quality childcare and continuing to develop an inclusive and inviting environment.

The Deputy Manager will have a shared responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, which involves leading a team of staff and liaising with parents. Maintaining the high standards of policy and procedure implementation within the nursery and to make appropriate provision in line with OFSTED requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring a high standard of care and education for children aged 0 - 5 years.

The Deputy will support the Manager of the nursery facilities and staff to ensure a balanced programme of childcare provision, delivering effective and appropriate, high quality education and childcare.

If you are passionate about nursery management and meet the below requirements then this could be the job for you:

- Minimum level 3 qualification
- Managerial experience
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements Understanding of EYFS & Safeguarding
- Ability to team lead, guide & support
- Excellent communicator both written & spoken

The role requires the confidence to make day to day decisions thoughtfully and with a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
