Office Administrator (Operations)

Position: Operations Administrator
Location: Magna Park, Lutterworth, Leicestershire (Commutable Rugby, Leicester, Nuneaton, Coventry, Market Harborough, Royal Leamington Spa and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 17.30
Salary: £17,574 per annum

About the role:

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Operations Administrator will be required to support day-to-day administration activities to ensure that the Business As Usual objectives are achieved, client Service Level Agreements maintained, and business goals achieved in order to support the delivery of the company’s vision and mission. Working within a fast paced warehouse / repair centre environment based in Magna Park, the vacancy is based within the Exceptions Management department which centres around process non-conformance and issue resolution. Due to the working environment, the Operations Administrator will be required to wear hi-viz clothing and safety boots whilst in the warehouse area.

Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for the Quality Control processes in the area, including root cause, preventative and corrective measures
- Responsible for ensuring stock integrity is applied within the area
- Responsible for management of consumables within the area
- Ensure that all Key Performance Indicator and visual management is provided and updated as per timeframes
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of SOPs for activities, and highlight where these are not in line with client operating procedures or current practices
- Ensure a standard approach to investigations is maintained
- Identify, using Root Cause Analysis, any process failure issues and report and remedy using the tools and techniques of the Unipart Way
- Collating data and providing information to highlight areas of poor performance and opportunities for improvement
- Providing information and make recommendations for 5S and Health and Safety standards
- Deliver concise and accurate information to operational management and the wider operation

About you:

- Strong planning, organising, and time management skills
- Able to balance priorities and set realistic expectations
- Ability to process information accurately, rapidly, and logically
- Unafraid to challenge practise / process and people to ensure efficiency and Continuous Improvement
- GCSE or equivalent level of education (including Maths and English)
- Excellent Communication skills including effective listening
- Proven logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data
- Awareness of Health and Safety standards
- Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Good negotiation skills and the ability to manage and influence people without direct management
- Flexible approach to hours of cover
