Job Title: Office Manager

Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £30,000

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Are you organized, like taking responsibility, used to juggling lots of different administrative tasks, friendly and flexible? Do you have previous experience as an Office Manager? You could be the person the company is looking for to join their friendly team. They are a small business providing audio visual solutions to schools and businesses across East Anglia and need someone to replace their retiring Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR - Manage and administer HR procedures, recruitment, leavers, holiday, and training records.
  • Quality - Develop, implement and maintain the company quality procedures, monitor and audit.
  • Health and Safety - Develop, implement and maintain procedures, monitor and review.
  • Finance - Provide line management to the Finance Controller and oversee the finance operations. Provide holiday cover for the accounts processing.
  • Facilities Management - Day to day management of the office and warehouse buildings.
  • Fleet Management - Administration of the maintenance of the company vehicles and drivers checks.
  • Special projects - Manage and administer any special projects that may arise.
  • General office administration e.g. post, stationery ordering, annual licences, etc.
  • Plus anything that doesn't fit anywhere else usually ends up on the Office Manager desk.

Essential Requirements:

  • Management and HR experience
  • Accounts experience
  • Strong and confident communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills - WORD, EXCEL particularly.
  • Developing and implementing policies & procedures
  • Self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
