Our client is a Multi-Academy Trust set up by Ripley St Thomas in 2017. Ripley is an Outstanding Church of England academy with a national profile and an excellent track record over many years. The Trust's aim is to improve and sustain high levels of school performance by a self-sustaining community that learns from each other and from the best available external practice. The schools within the Trust can focus on teaching and learning due to the Trust’s central team that supports them with finance, buildings and staffing.

The Trust is now looking for a Part-time Administrative Assistant to provide an effective and efficient HR administration service to the academies within the Trust. This will involve routinely visiting the academies within the Trust, building relationships with the business teams and providing front line advice, where appropriate, to the employees of the Trust.

Other duties and responsibilities include:
• Liaising with the academies to ensure that information relating to appointments, leavers, retirements, sickness absence, other leave, parental leave, contract changes etc. is exchanged in a confidential and timely manner.
• Composing and issuing letters, contracts of employment and annual salary statements etc.
• Maintaining both physical and electronic personnel records.
• Taking notes at meetings, investigations and hearings; typing and distributing notes within agreed timescales.
• Updating and/or composing job descriptions, person specifications and forms (e.g. holiday forms, request for leave of absence forms)
• Entering and updating contract information onto SIMS Personnel
• Contributing to staff recruitment procedures.
• Carrying out payroll processing using SAGE 50cloud payroll
• Managing payroll and HR queries ensuring that they are dealt with in a courteous and timely manner.

To be considered for the role you will have some previous experience in an Administrative role with experience of Microsoft Word & Excel, preferably to an intermediate level. You will also hold GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

This is a part-time position, based on 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days. In return, you will receive a salary of £11,658-£12,871 (FTE £19,171 - £21,166).
