Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a Part Time HR Advisor for an established Manufacturing company based in Sheffield on a c3 day basis. This is a Generalist HR Advisor role supporting the site and reporting into the Group Head of HR.

Generalist in nature, the role will support the site senior management team in the delivery of an efficient HR service, working with managers, including support on employee relations, resourcing, people development, performance management, engagement, reward and remuneration, consultations, restructures, occupational health, training & development, as well as the general health & safety and well-being of the employees. The role will include leading on change activities through the effective influencing of managers and employees, as well as educating and coaching managers in the effective management of performance and succession planning. This will also involve implementing effective reward and salary reviews, as well as pay negotiations specific to the site requirements. The role will incorporate work and projects to achieve the overall company vision, business objectives and goals.

To be successful in the role you should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of employment law, possess a good generalist background, ideally within a unionised environment, as well as being able to demonstrate creativity, influence, passion for HR and empathy for people management within an industrial environment. You should also be systems literate, comfortable with managing your own HR administration and, as this is a standalone role, be capable of working autonomously, managing your own time and workload.

Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:

- CIPD Qualified or working towards
- A degree in HR or a business-related degree would be highly desirable
- Successful HR experience in FMCG/manufacturing/engineering environments
- Experience of working in an unionised environment
- Ability to communicate and influence across ALL levels
- A flexible, can-do attitude to operate as a business partner to the operational management team
