My client is looking to recruit a part time Payroll Administrator for a retail business based in Hadleigh, Essex.
Role - Payroll Administrator
Must have processed payroll for 600+ Employees
Hours of work - Monday to Thursday - 9 am to 5.30 pm (32 hours PW) occasional Fridays
Working within a friendly retail head office team you will be fully accountable for processing payroll for 600 employees.
Experienced in payroll you will have a key eye for detail, and an understanding of legislative changes that will affect payroll and its timely administration .
Your role will be to manage the process, calculating actuate wages processing rate changes, salary increases, bonuses, and overtime.
You will need to work the Friday of the pay run to be able to answer staff queries about pay slips, tax codes ect.
Sending out relevant tax forms and providing assistance to the Human Resources team.
Inputting hours on the company time management system.
Calculating SSP and SMP
Basic computer skills
Excel and Word experience
working with spreadsheets
