Part time, 25 hours per week 

Our client is a UK based financial services business which utilises the latest communication technologies, principally the internet, mobile smart telephony and social media, to offer customers a range of incentive, reward and Christmas products, backed by the highest levels of service. 

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join them within the Group Human Resources function to manage a weekly and monthly payroll system, utilising Sage 50 Payroll in conjunction with the Payroll Team. In addition, you will also perform a variety of HR administration tasks as required. 

In the role you will be accountable for checking and entering salary, overtime & other payments, entering new starter details and processing leavers. Calculating items such as holiday pay and entitlement and developing salary review sheets, you will take responsibility for all admin duties; input employees into a pension plan, produce and check payslips, generate offer letters/contracts of employment, take up references, complete all journals and produce reports as requested by the Human Resources Manager on items such as sickness payments/overtime etc. 

With a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar payroll function and of actively running a medium-large payroll, along with a working knowledge of auto-enrolment, tax codes, year-end processes and payroll calculations, you will be fully conversant with all aspects of payroll management and year end procedures. Able to work to tight deadlines and excellent working knowledge of the Sage 50 system, the successful candidate will have good interpersonal and excel skills. 

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a relaxed, easy going and intimate team, working part time hours, Monday – Friday 12pm – 5:00pm.
