As a Payroll Manager you will be responsible for the payroll services within the company. You will ensure each stage of the payroll is processed properly. You will be responsible for around 9000 staff that are paid both weekly and monthly. You will ensure that staff are paid correctly and in regulation with HRMC and other statutory bodies.
Manage and control the payroll software and data base.
Manage a team of 7 administrators. This includes performance management, recruitment, personal development and review workloads and allocations.
Lead the TUPE and Acquisition procedure for payroll to ensure a seamless transition from previous employers into the business.
Manage and lead payroll projects required due to changes in legislation and other external factors. Use lean and six sigma enterprise approaches.
Manage all areas of benefits, e.g. holiday buy and sell, cycle to work.
Manage pension provider.
Exposure to working with TUPE and unionised environments.
Strong project management experience.
Good Excel Skills V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
