Solihull, Birmingham (national travel required)
Salary from £30,500 plus benefits
Our client is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities. They're also proud to create opportunities that make things happen - for people, families, homes and communities. They're a busy team, enabling their Group Partners in both the social housing and commercial arm of the business to deliver their strategic priorities. They can only achieve this if they've got the right resources so look for people and partners with as much enthusiasm and passion as they have for making things happen.
With that in mind, our client currently has an opportunity available for a proactive People Partner, based out of their Birmingham office supporting the Southern region.
Ensuring that People policies are implemented on a consistent basis and identifying changes that may be required, you will coach, support and challenge managers in the application of People policies and practices, providing advice and guidance on complex People issues.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be qualified to CIPD level 7 (or equivalent) and have proven experience and a sound knowledge of employment law, grievance and disciplinary issues, recruitment, absence management, staff health & wellbeing, attrition, and TUPE legislation. A self-starter with the ability to manage your own workload, you must be capable of building relationships effectively and working under minimal supervision.
As well as a competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement, they offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a health cash plan, pension scheme, child care vouchers and staff discount club membership.
