Personal Assistant The Role

As a PA you will work closely with senior management to provide administrative support. As a PA you will need to quickly gain the knowledge of the business, understanding our Vision and Strategy. As a PA you will liaise with management and aid them by dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks. You will  need to be discreet and confidential, these are essential attributes for a successful PA.

Role Requirements

To be a success in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum 3 years senior level PA experience
  • Excellent organisational, planning and personnel skills
  • The ability to work in both a team environment and also under own initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills required, both internal and external
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A high degree of personal confidence and initiative
  • Problem solving skills whilst maintaining diplomacy
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • The confidence in making decisions on behalf of directors
  • Good time management
  • Effective negotiating skills
  • A proactive attitude & positive outlook with a can do attitude
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask  

Your Responsibilities

  • Complex diary management including booking of all meetings, reviews, appointments, dinners and travel
  • Preparation of all necessary and supporting documentation for meetings and travel
  • Responding to correspondence on behalf of Director
  • First line response, and filter for all queries, questions and request for information
  • Dealing with confidential correspondence
  • Creation of presentations
  • Reconciliation and follow up of company credit cards, fuel cards and expenses
