About us
Serco works in a strategic partnership with Peterborough City Council (PCC) to transform the quality of local services for citizens.
We are now recruiting for a Project Benefits Manager to join our thriving transformation team within Peterborough Council.  We are currently working on 3 main programmes of transformation in; Health and Social Care, Digital and IT.  Due to the varied transformation programmes the team has a strong ethos of collaboration and we work closely with the PMO, business analysts and programme managers.

About the role
You will focus on driving transformation and business change within PCC and provide benefits realisation management capability within the Transformation portfolio.  You will support the programme team and business with the delivery and extraction of benefits which will include; reviewing project base lines, putting together plans for realising benefits within projects, management and financial control of benefits, the coordination of internal and external stakeholders to review budgets, make projections for monetary savings and quantify and profile the impacts and when benefits are realised. 

About you
You will have a high level financial competency and analytic skills coupled with financial accreditations and a background in a range of project work driving out benefits from transformational change. You will need excellent experience calculating and quantifying benefits and have strong stakeholder management skills, whilst experience of local government finances and digital transformation in the public sector would be beneficial.
