Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of one of our South Yorkshire based clients to recruit an Interim HR Project Manager for a period of c18 months in the first instance.

Reporting into the Head of HR, my client is looking for a strong Project Manager with proven project management experience along with project management qualifications and experience of engaging on business wide projects. A key aspect of the role will be a focus on HR and people changes within the business. The role will work as part of wider project team and will focus on the Human capital element of change.

The role will have responsibility for managing large complex and multiple projects within the business that have a significant people impact. Demonstrating ownership of business wide projects the role will ensure appropriate governance, accurate time scaling and that interdependencies and risks are identified. The role will also ensure appropriate people change management is included in plans for delivery and ensure effective communications are maintained with all stakeholders. The role will manage the delivery of these projects on time and within budget, resource and adhering to company policy.

To be successful in this role we're looking for the following skills:

- A strong background in project management is required with a PM qualification e.g Prince 2
- Experience of large-scale complex projects
- Ideally experience of working as part of the HR function within a Unionised environment
- Possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to engage across all levels of the business
- There should also be a strong understanding of HR change initiatives such as restructures, changes to T&C's, harmonisation projects etc

The role will require some UK travel. If you feel you have the appropriate HR project management skills and would be available to start in the next 2-3 weeks we'd be delighted to hear from you.
