Our Client is a leading national training provider. They specialise in supporting Apprenticeship Levy paying employers across England and delivering STEM sector apprenticeships and traineeships.
They are a Prime Contractor to the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and in addition to Apprenticeship provision they also deliver Study Programme for 16-19-year olds and Traineeships for 16-24 year olds.
They are looking to appoint a Recruitment Officer to join them where you will be responsible for recruiting 19+ unemployed people within the postcodes of delivery areas of the AEB contract. Attending your local job centres and becoming a presence in the community, you will source eligible learners for a variety of programmes (to include ICT, BA Engineering & Manufacturing, English, Maths and ESOL) whilst also staying abreast of attending careers fairs and other suitable marketing / networking events.
This role is well suited to someone who is target driven and wants to get out and about, visiting organisations and encouraging them to refer their learners to you. It is not a traditional recruitment role but more of a hands on position, where you will pre-screen learners when out in your region.
The successful candidate will be someone who can motivate and engage unemployed individuals to engage on our programmes. A dynamic individual, you will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with a full range of referral partners, to include JCP, as week as maximising referral opportunities.
Target driven and with strong communication skills, you will have previous experience of working in a learner recruitment / engagement environment.
