The Company

We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Specialist to join an in-house recruitment team of a Global FMCG business. This position is based just north of Oxford. This is a 6 month fixed term with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The Job:

You will need to be able to work autonomously, as you will be the sole onsite recruitment professional for the site and act as a partner for the management team. You will also have the support of a small recruitment team at a different site, a UK based Recruitment Manager, and the HR Manager.

You will have excellent relationship building skills, and possess significant experience of direct recruitment using a variety of tools and techniques. You will also strive to always provide an excellent candidate experience. It is essential that you possess a real passion for improving the way we work and the results we achieve, and you will work closely with the team to ensure we offer a first class service.

Act as the recruitment point of contact for the division you will be responsible for:

  • Management of the end to end recruitment process from brief to offer
  • Drafting and posting job advertisements on a variety of platforms, including job boards and the careers page
  • Sourcing candidates and creating robust pipelines to fill our open positions
  • Telephone and face to face interviewing of applicants (where applicable)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of staffing requirements
  • Meet established metrics for sourcing, offers and hires
  • Supporting any additional recruitment projects and activities as appropriate


The Ideal Candidate:

You should have the following skills, experience and/or qualifications:

  • Proven ability to partner with hiring managers in order to fill vacancies
  • Experience of using a variety of tools and techniques to directly source candidates, gained from either inhouse or agency recruitment
  • Experience of working well under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
  • The drive to constantly improve the way you work
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and strong prioritisation skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence others
