Elevation HR are working with a leading complex transportation Business recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner (Operational)on a permanent basis.
This role is an exciting opportunity to join a changing organisation, reporting to the Head of HR and working across Yorkshire ensuring that all Managers are supported across Complex cases, Absence Management and Related Employee Relations; building relationships and trust within the organisation.

The role will be responsible for:

*Provide advice and guidance in line with policies and current legislation to managers and colleagues
*Develop effective working relationships with managers across the Group to increase the profile and credibility of the HR Team
*Support the Business with any employee relations cases from absence management through to Tribunal hearings ensuring correct processes and policies are adhered to
*Have the confidence and experience to push back in situations with regards to processes and ensure that HR are seen as a guiding and advisory service rather than managing and directing the investigations/meetings
*Manage and take part in projects to look at key areas of focus affecting business priorities
*Work alongside the operational and engineering teams to ensure active participation in the management of Trade Union relationships and negotiations
*Perform the role of Data Compliance Officer, liaising with the GDPR Consultant to ensure legal adherence

Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

*CIPD Qualified or Equivalent
*Have worked in fast paced, challenging environments with Union experience
*Have an appreciation of the challenges facing a public transport sector and its people
*Have managed ER cases through to bundle preparation and Tribunals
*Have a full driving licence as travel across Yorkshire to a variety of sites is necessary

*This position needs to have someone in place for the end of March 2018
