Dementia devastates lives. By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won't win. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society will be here for anyone affected by dementia - wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Everything we do is informed and inspired by them.
We are the UK's leading dementia charity. Every day, we work tirelessly to find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia. We provide expert information, training, and support services to all those who need our help. And we are creating a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.
About the role
Alzheimer's Society is made up of over 10,000 volunteers and employees. These people, ‘Our People’ work together to build a better world for people with dementia and the people who care for them; our people are at the heart of delivering our strategy.
The reward and recognition team has a privileged position and an exciting remit of fully evolving our approach to total reward, to ‘create the right conditions’ for all our people to give their best each day to deliver our strategic aims and to value their time at the Society. Your role as Reward Adviser is instrumental in making this happen.
As a result of further investment in the team and one of the team leaving we are currently looking for two people to join us in the Reward and Recognition team. For this position you will have knowledge and experience of the more financial investments organisations tend to make such as base pay, pensions, and financial benefits.
Regardless of your experience you will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with other team members so you can grow your experience across the wider total reward spectrum.
Our employees work hard every day to make a true difference in people's lives. We are proud to support them with a range of benefits, recognition and many options for working agilely. All contributing to a strong work life balance.
We also have various learning programmes to support you in your development and help you grow to realise your potential and shape a career with Alzheimer's Society.
