Senior Employee Relations Advisor- Part Time (22.5 hours per week)

Location: Leeds

Salary up to £35,000 (pro rata) + 3% flexible benefits + discretionary bonus

Hours- 22.5 hours per week- Monday - Wednesday- exact hours to be discussed

Here at Lowell we recognise that our people are our biggest asset, this is why we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our growing team.

What will you be doing?

As our Senior Employee Relations Advisor you'll provide a pro-active ER service to all department across our Leeds and Tolworth offices.

Supporting the development and implementation of our ER agenda and key HR policies to improve the effectiveness of the business in line with the overall business strategy. You will instil HR best practice and consistency by providing ER advice and guidance across the business and support managers with complex disciplinary and grievance investigations, hearings and appeals providing HR and Employment Law advice ensuring consistency and fairness.

You'll be familiar with UK Employment Law and hold a postgraduate CIPD qualification (or an equivalent qualification)

What will you need to bring?

  • Professional and confidential approach to all aspects of work
  • Assertive and confident when operating at all levels
  • Methodical, organised and ability to effectively plan
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to interpret, analyse and present MI data in a user friendly format and make recommendations

You'll also need to have:

  • Strong Employment Law understanding (essential)
  • Experience of tribunal and ACAS proceedings (desirable)
  • Delivering training up to management level (desirable)

Previous Experience of

  • Dealing with disciplinaries and grievances (essential)
  • Working within a Call Centre environment (desirable)
  • Working within a fast paced environment (desirable)
