Senior HR Advisor

Our client is looking to appoint a Senior HR Advisor to provide HR support and advice in relation to a number of key HR policies and procedures. They are looking for someone who can uphold their values and priorities within a HR environment, ensuring best HR practice and legal compliance within the organisation.

Senior HR Advisor Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to provide guidance and case management in respect of attendance management issues, performance, discipline and dispute issues and to support the management of cases as required, which will include attendance at possible termination hearings. You will provide proactive HR and employee relations support to managers and members of staff, including advice and guidance on HR policies, legislation and terms & conditions of service.

The role will also require the presentation of reports, using your own research to identify themes and trends within HR, which may be fed back or presented to senior management. As well as project work, including implementing the client’s Wellbeing Strategy.

Senior HR Advisor Requirements:

The successful applicant will be educated to Level 5 in Human Resource Management or hold a relevant equivalent qualification, and have experience of providing HR / Personnel advice to managers and senior managers.

It is essential that the successful candidate also has a working knowledge of employment legislation and experience of research and analysis of information, as well as excellent IT skills and experience of successfully implementing HR projects.

Please be advised, there will be a requirement to travel around the East Midlands region, for which access to your own transport is required.

It would be advantageous if you have experience of chairing meetings, and consulting and negotiating with staff associations.
