This post is full time and open ended

This is a significant full-time role within the College HR Team providing professional, client-centred service to the College of Science and Engineering.

The Senior HR Adviser is a member of the professional staff team within the College of Science & Engineering and will support the Head of College HR in the provision of a comprehensive HR service to the CoSE Client Group through the application of professional expertise and judgement.

In addition you will give direction to a small team of HR professionals to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the CoSE HR Team in order that it achieves excellence in the provision of the HR service to each constituent part of the College.

Key to the Senior HR Adviser's role as a business partner is the development and maintenance of effective relationships and services across the College, and with Corporate HR, the wider HR and University community.

Candidates must possess full membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, be able to demonstrate substantial relevant Human Resources management experience post qualification as well as a in depth knowledge and understanding of UK HR policy and best practice in relation to large complex organisations.
