We are embarking on an ambitious growth strategy to quadruple the size of our business over the next three years. This growth strategy includes launching a new consumer mortgage business in March 2017 and opening new business offices in Leeds, Manchester, Brighton and Bristol to complement our existing presence in London (3 offices) and Birmingham. 

Our people are key to our customer offering and how we seek to differentiate ourselves as a banking provider in this competitive marketplace. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Manager to join our HR team in Southgate. 

This is a newly created role, and represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to use their skills, experience and influence to make a real difference to our employee proposition. Reporting into the Head of HR & Communications and working closely with senior leaders, you will be responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient organisation structure to support our growth strategy, and managing all aspects of resourcing to meet our current and future needs. 

The role will also include leading the implementation of the Bank’s Performance Management process and developing initiatives that support a positive workplace culture and effective employee engagement. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate “hands on” leadership experience of organisation development and resourcing and ideally be from a strong retail financial services background. CIPD qualified or equivalent is essential. You will have strong communication skills and be confident at working at all levels in the business, including engaging and influencing at a senior executive level. You will also be prepared to “roll up your sleeves” and play an active role as part of a small but ambitious HR team.
