Salary £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Our client now has an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Human Resources Advisor to join them to contribute to the proactive delivery of an efficient and effective Human Resources service to College Management and staff, that contributes to the strategic aims of the College.
Managing and coordinating the implementation of the College’s Recruitment and Selection procedures, you must adopt a partnership approach to support and assist managers in implementing human resource policy and procedures and provide effective coordination of work activities/resources within the HR Function.
Leading and coordinating the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate input processing and providing advice in connection with Payroll, you will develop, implement and maintain HR service standards and advise staff on DBS procedures’ processing and recording applications in accordance with policy and procedure, maintaining confidentiality at all times
You must also provide managers with advice and support to enable them to effectively manage and resolve employee relations issues and undertake casework in relation to attendance management, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and other HR processes.
CIPD qualified and with at least 2 years’ recent experience within the Human Resources field including specific experience of recruitment processes and casework in relation to attendance management, disciplinary, grievance and performance, candidates should have highly developed organisational and administrative skills and the ability to work flexibly.
Capable of establishing credibility and rapport with College Managers and members of staff, to provide an effective, proactive customer focused service, you must have strong IT skills and a good eye for detail and accuracy.
