Snr HR Manager (Generalist/Technology) - London
£65 to £80k + bonus + shares
My client a Global Technology Company and start-up are looking for a Generalist HR Manager who is hands-on and strong on Employee Relations and recruitment to join the small and friendly but fast growing team here in the UK as well as offices across the EU.

We are looking for a Generalist HR Manager to help deliver uniquely positive experiences to their employees and have responsibility for all aspects of HR and the full People lifecycle of their employees, creating an environment that attracts them as recruits, and continuously excites them as professionals and as people.
The key objective of the HR Manager is to provide comprehensive HR services to staff across the UK and some offices across the EU.
You will manage labour relations include offering counselling services to employees, participating in the recruitment process and conducting exit interviews.
Manage the talent acquisition process, the recruitment budget and ensure hiring targets are being realized on a quarterly basis.
Manage budget for and implement employee initiatives with creativity, and high levels of employee engagement.
Ensure new employees go through the on-boarding programme and work with US training team to ensure training is aligned with corporate standards.
Manage the employee benefits & welfare programme by making recommendations & improvements to existing programmes, managing relationships with vendors and rolling out programmes to new EU offices.
Ensure `Fun` is being injected in the everyday life of our employees by recognizing cultural, state and company events.
Ensure managers are recognizing excellence, and employees are being rewarded and recognized for their contributions.
Assist with the implementation of the performance management system and manage the bi-annual appraisal process in EU.
Ensure employee development plans are put into place and assist with development needs, succession planning and poor performance in liaison with reporting managers.
Manage employee departures with recognition and celebration, whilst ensuring legal aspects of departures are managed carefully.
Play a critical role in the implementation of the benefits review and internal training programs
Assist with global implementation of common HR processes, policies, and systems, and influence the appropriate application of global standards.
Provide strategic counsel in all matters affecting the organization, including organization restructuring, succession planning, talent acquisition, and talent development.
Assist in shaping the organization culture in a changing environment as the business grows.
Design, develop and implement standardized business processes and systems.
Reinforce culture in senior managers and help develop junior managers.
Provide direction and consultation to departments in regards to HR policies, procedures, programs and initiatives.
SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary degree in Human Resources.
In-depth knowledge of technology industries/tech background is highly beneficial.
Experience working in a start-up environment is highly beneficial.
Experience in working within Europe & Asia Pacific regions is helpful.
Experience as an all-round generalist including in-depth knowledge of ER.
Familiarity with HR systems
Willingness to get their hands dirty and contribute on all levels.
Confidence in working at director support level, and the ability to influence senior staff.
Experience in successfully implementing benefits and compensation projects in a timely manner
Delivery focused and experienced in working with tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and be flexible to ad hoc duties.
Proactive in problem solving.
Excellent relationship building, interpersonal & communication skills.
Experience in dealing appropriately with confidential matters.
Proactive attitude in all aspects of duties.
Confident and approachable to all levels of employees and able to approach difficult issues in an appropriate manner.
