Talent Acquisition Partner - Technology

People & Facilities - West London

Are you a frustrated technology recruiter or software engineer looking for a career change?

Another 7.30 AM start in the office for those candidate calls that may or may not pick up (they still count towards your KPIs though, right?) and you can see the day stretching out in front of you already. Will you get a lunch break? Will you be lucky enough to get away at 18:30 today?

It's not the candidate reachouts that are the drain, it's the mind-numbing business development calls to busy clients who have better things to do than listen to you pitch your "unique" recruitment offering.

The move into HR from agency recruitment is near impossible (you need to be on the CIPD course for that and guess what, to be on the CIPD course you need HR experience).

In-house recruitment seems like the other natural progression, but those roles are mostly an out-post of HR where you farm out roles to a long contingency agency PSL who mostly hate you because of the awful rates the finance team have agreed with Head Office.

There is another way ... you can come and work with our client.

They need a Talent Acquisition Partner to reach out to the amazing community of Software Engineers and Data Scientists in the UK and overseas, to get them buzzing about working on the systems responsible for processing billions of holiday offer combinations and the APIs that power our clients business.

If this has struck a chord with you so far, then read on to see if you could be a fit.

Talent Acquisition Partner – Technology Requirements:

You are either a frustrated agency recruiter or a software engineer looking for a career change, so have the ability to speak credibly about technology, particularly software engineering languages, tools and applications and their use within E-Commerce.

If you are a recruiter, you will have extensive experience in market mapping, specific to software engineering and demonstrable success resourcing, contacting and engaging with software engineering prospects.

Your excellent communication skills provide you with the ability to drive empathetic and engaging dialogue with a diverse range of people.

You are able to quickly build long-lasting relationships with hiring managers and engender trust in your opinion when it comes to presenting candidates.

Your ability to work at pace and to tight deadlines, means you have a track record of achieving challenging KPIs. That, combined with your positive attitude, and a willingness to get things done means you can respond quickly to change or when new challenges arise.

You have lived through enforced remote working and probably used video reachouts prior to 2020 anyhow, so happy to present to prospects using video in an engaging and credible way.

You may also have experience of (or ideas for) events such as meet-ups, conferences and networking activities for our thought leaders to engage with the wider tech community - or other employer marketing initiatives to help grow our presence.

What can they offer in return?

They are transitioning from start-up to scale-up phase, still developing their job families and so not yet ready to publish salaries, but they can discuss it directly after your application and be assured that they have benchmarked this role to a respectable level.

They see this role as having clear progression from a TA Partner to a TA Manager, once they have established a steady pipeline of Tech candidates. At that point, they may look to grow the team and you could have line management responsibility for a new TA Partner hire.

If you have an interest in other areas of Talent like belonging, diversity and inclusion, employer branding and events, you will be given the opportunity to get involved in those initiatives and they're always keen to hear about and support new ideas.

Aside from that, they offer generous holiday discounts for their employees and their friends & family, gym discounts, employee assistance programme (available to you and also your family) and are reviewing a number of other benefits to launch in the coming months.

Share your CV easily with them by clicking "apply" and there are a few questions that will help support your application. They promise to respond to all applications quickly.

All of their employees are eligible for heavily discounted holidays, enjoy market-benchmarked salary packages and flexible working options.
