Talent and Leadership Development Manager
Our client, a well-establish legal firm in central London, are looking for a highly-competent Learning and Development Manager to join their fantastic L&D team.
This role will support the Head of Talent to help shape and implement the overall talent and leadership development strategy for the organisation.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant operational management experience in a talent and leadership development role within the not for profit industry. They will have experience in the design and delivery of training initiatives and a strong knowledge of the implementation of succession planning, including its L&D challenges. Prior experience of line management and the development of staff is essential and experience of budgeting and forecasting is desirable. The role is managing a junior professional and will report directly into the Head of Talent.
The role will involve:
- Oversight of design, deployment and explansion of training and development programmes
- Implementation of talent succession and the apprenticeship formation and performance management
- Devising L&D strategy consistent with business objectives
- Cultivate a culture of learning and development within the organisation
-Selecting and working alongsied third party providers to deliver tailored programmes to the business
