Purpose of the role
The role of the HRBP [Projects] is to lead and deliver identified projects from the HR Operating Plan to include, planning, implementing, training, communication, embedding and evaluation. The successful job holder will need to be able to quickly assess the current situation and make recommendations for implementing effective solutions. They will also provide HR advice for formal and/or complex employee relations matters and provide coaching and training as identified. As part of the team, you will contribute to the improvement of practices and procedures to support improvement and development of the overall HR service provision.
Key Responsibilities
Main
- Lead on HR projects for delivery of new or improved ways of working and initiatives as set out in the HR Operating Plan.
- Develop project plans to include timelines, stakeholder management, training needs, communications and identify/develop resources required for effective delivery and ensure the HR team are all engaged.
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams to ensure that HR solutions and processes are designed with the needs of the business at the core and embedded
- Train people managers on effective ER policy and practise.
- Provide advice and support managers in formal complex employee relations matters
- Review practices and procedures as identified and make improvements to ensure these meet the required legislation, drive manager accountability and are fit for purpose.
- Support the drive for system solutions by identifying new ways of working and reducing inefficiency/inaccuracy.
- Review the guidance and information in relation to maternity and paternity and effectively communicate
- Contribute to team objectives and reporting to Board as required
- Undertake any other reasonable activity in line with the requirements of the role.
