With a recently approved Council Plan we are in the process of developing a refreshed People Strategy. This will drive and shape our employment practices and transform the way we add value at every level. We are investing in the service and these two new posts will be given the opportunity to lead on strategic people projects blended with a variety of operational employment work focused on supporting managers to maximise the performance of their teams.  

So, if you have; 

•  Membership of the CIPD or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of current and emerging employment practice and trends
• Experience in providing employment advice in a multi-disciplined environment
• Proven relationship management skills and the ability to develop strong, mutually beneficial relations with external and internal networks and stakeholders
• A track record demonstrating your ability to deliver on people related projects
